Signet launches Your Buyer's Guide

National packaging manuafacturer and distributor and sponsor of the 2008 Australian Olympics Team, Signet, launches Your Buyer’s Guide and gives you a chance to win a Samsung 40” LCD TV every time Australia wins Gold!

The launch of Your Buyer’s Guide on 1 August opens an exciting new chapter for Signet, as the company’s sponsorship of the 2008 Australian Olympic Team reaches its climax.

Over the past year the national packaging manufacturer and distributor has worked closely with elite athletes from a range of sports, providing corporate support during their preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Throughout this period, Your Buyer’s Guide has served as Signet’s publicity vehicle, involving customers directly in the Olympic campaign through regular news features and a series of competitions.  Dual Olympic swimmer, Julie McDonald spoke at the launch of the latest Your Buyer’s Guide, held last week at Signet’s Brisbane office, commenting on the culture of the Signet team in embracing the Olympic spirit.

Now as the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games commence on 8 August, Your Buyer’s Guide is again bringing the Australian Team into the spotlight with more games information and giveaways, including a golden opportunity to win an LCD TV.  Signet is giving away a Samsung 40” LCD TV every time Australia wins a Gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

“The most important thing is that every customer can share the anticipation and have a chance to experience the Games as never before,” said Managing Director, Mark Brennan. “Through Your Buyer’s Guide we can achieve that as every customer has their copy containing a commemorative Olympic calendar and medal tally tracker.”

“As always, there is a massive range of products to choose from, including 57 new packaging, health & safety and stationery products which have been launched with this issue”.

“Naturally, the more TV’s I have to giveaway, the better the Olympic experience for everyone!” Mr Brennan said.

Two customers guaranteed of a better Olympic experience are the winners of Signet’s recent “Win a Trip to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games” competitions.

Vision International Forwarding, a provider of solutions and management in the field of transport logistics was the first winner as announced in January.

Wade Henry, Vision’s warehouse supervisor is the lucky employee who will travel to the games and get behind our team as they take on the world’s best.  Mr Henry and his partner will attend the Opening Ceremony as well as gymnastics, swimming and beach volleyball events in addition to a sightseeing excursion.

The second lucky winner, drawn in June 2008 was Boxsell Hydroponics, a Brisbane based manufacturer of hydroponic channels.

Des and Lyn Boxsell are looking forward to their two sightseeing excursions in addition to attending a beach volleyball heat and finals of the table tennis, athletics and gymnastics.
