2010 International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show update

Following the overwhelming success of the inaugural 2008 event, organisers of the 2010 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment (ITTE) show to be held at the Melbourne showgrounds next March are anticipating it to be 30 per cent bigger with space sales having already well surpassed those of 2008.

According to Vince King, Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle sales and marketing manager, the ITTE show is an important event for the Australian trucking industry.

“The ITTE Show is a professionally run event and a wonderful showcase for our industry,” he said. “Being based in Melbourne, the show is also a chance for us to provide extra opportunities and events for our customers, suppliers and partners.”

The show will be also an important milestone for Western Star/ MAN Automotive Imports and Iveco, both of which have signed up for individual pavilions at the three-day event.

“Never before have we had an entire hall of our own at any truck show,” Western Star Trucks marketing manager Pat Cook enthused. “In recent times, Western Star has really come of age and we also have our exciting new MAN range to expand sales.”

Rounding off the impressive show line-up will be the largest collection of trailer builders and manufacturers ever assembled for a transport exhibition in Australia. Currently more than 50 manufacturers are confirmed for the event with Vawdrey, MaxiTRANS, CIMC, Krueger, Tieman and Barker, just to name a few.
