4th Annual Queensland Infrastructure Summit - 18-19 March 2010, Brisbane

Now in its 4th year, IIR Conferences' Queensland Infrastructure Summit will explore the importance of accessing and securing sufficient infrastructure financing and provide the latest information on how organisations can take advantage of the infrastructure project opportunities that lie ahead.

In 2008-2009 Queensland's economy grew by .08 per cent during the most severe financial and economic crisis since the 1930s. Continued growth during what appears to be the now-waning global financial crisis lends proof to the strength of the state's rapidly-expanding infrastructure future.

With sustained growth comes continued challenges to providing Queensland’s ambitious $124 billion, 20-year infrastructure program. Accessing finance for major projects is a constant challenge with the recently re-elected Queensland Labor Government exploring new and innovative ways to source infrastructure finance.

Gain essential insights into the planning, funding and delivery of crucial infrastructure projects in the state from a fantastic line-up of speakers including:
  • The Hon Andrew Fraser MP, Treasurer of Queensland
  • The Hon Rachel Nolan MP, Minister for Transport
  • Colin Jensen, Department of Infrastructure & Planning
  • Alan Tesch, Department of Transport & Main Roads
  • Gary White, Department of Infrastructure & Planning
  • Michael Walsh, Queensland Health
  • Al Wagner, Department of Education & Training
  • Greg Nielsen, Office of Clean Energy
  • John McEvoy, Department of Transport & Main Roads
  • Arthur Stamatoudis, Department of Transport & Main Roads
  • Ross Barker, Office of Economic & Statistical Research
  • Tim Poole, Gold Coast Rapid Transit Project
  • Dr Raymond Wilson, BrisConnections
  • Ian Greer, Standard & Poor's
  • Laurie Walker, Commonwealth Bank of Australia
  • Professor Stephen Gray, University of Queensland
  • Grant Pollard, Value Decisions
  • Adrian Morey, Arup
Don’t miss this fantastic chance to meet, network and discuss the state of infrastructure in Queensland with top government representatives and key industry players.
