Speakers invited to address nation's leading supply chain conference


Supply chain and logistics experts who are keen to help enterprises deal with economic challenges and increasing market pressures are now invited to register to speak at Smart Conference 2011, Australia’s leading supply chain conference.
 
Themed ‘The Road Ahead: Supply Chain Models for the Future’, Smart Conference will unite hundreds of delegates and help them focus on a future with flexible, innovative and sustainable supply chains.
 
To be held Wednesday 25 – Thursday 26 May 2011 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Smart 2011’s conference program will include multiple streams, each focusing on a specific area of the supply chain and developed by leading practitioners in their fields who have vast knowledge of industry issues.
 
“Smart 2011 will be a truly special event for those involved in supply chains and logistics activities around the world, showcasing the latest information, ideas and techniques from leading authorities and thinkers,” said Denis Horder, program director for Smart Conference.
 
Mr Horder said speakers are currently being sought to address the conference in key areas such as:

  • Procurement Strategies – new forms of flexibility.
  • Advanced Improvement Methodologies in Manufacturing – smarter processes.
  • The Human Factor – leadership, managing generational change, safety.
  • Supply Chain Strategic Planning – innovative models.
  • Infrastructure – new developments in road, rail and intermodal.
