One month to go to the eleventh Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference


There is one month to go before the eleventh Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference, which will see over 27 speakers present papers over the two days on strategic procurement, supply chain planning, logistics improvement, warehousing, manufacturing and much more.
 
With a theme ‘2020 Vision: 2020: Harmonisation, Innovation, Acceleration’ the conference is ideally suited for supply chain, logistics, transport and procurement professionals and practitioners. A uniquely-styled educational event, the conference is designed for both professional and personal development in a most-relaxed environment.
 
To be held on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 August 2010 at the Sofitel Hotel, Brisbane, the 11th annual conference will have a comprehensive and dynamic program that includes presentations from highly distinguished Australian speakers. 
 
Speakers will include Steve Meyrick, GHD Meyrick, Eddie Peters, general manager, assets and operations from the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Greg Courts, general manager contracts and procurement, QGC, Billie Gorman, head of strategic sourcing, Bank of Queensland, Tom Caird, managing director, Buker Australasia, and many more.
 
Highlights of the conference continue to be the Supply Chain and Logistics Summit, which was established by the Queensland conference and is in its eight consecutive year, the 2010 Queensland T&L Leaders Awards, and the annual charity dinner, which will be supporting Foodbank Queensland this year.
