CEO Discussion Panel to be the highlight at Supply Chain Summit

The CILTA/SCLAA Supply Chain Summit: What’s New & What’s Next will be host to industry leaders discussing the issues facing the transport and supply chain industry in an open forum.

The CEO’s Discussion Panel that forms the afternoon session of the summit program will include Hans Anneveldt, GGM QR National Freight; Ken Bean, CEO Metcash; Giueseppe Devincenzo, executive vice president CEVA Logistics; Ingilby Dickson, GM supply chain logistics BlueScope Steel and Bill Rothery, CEO & chairman Swires.

The roving Facilitator (David Rogers SCLAA National Chairman) will promote open and active discussion between panellists and guests. This is an opportunity to interact with senior figures of the industry and hear first-hand how they have steered their organisation through the tough financial times of recent years. Their perspective on what the future holds will be insightful and will encourage enthusiastic debate on the challenges ahead.

The summit has a full program of topics covering a range of issues, including women in T&L, education in T&L and attracting and retaining staff to the industry. There will also be case studies and a presentation on research into the industry, which will be under embargo to the media. Further information will be provided at the event.

This event will allow businesses in the industry to be actively involved in discussing the supply chain as it is now and where it needs to be in the future. It will give participants the opportunity to hear from industry leaders on these major issues and provide a chance to respond and challenge their current actions. This will not be another conference but a practical and affordable event.
