Handheld APAC establishes local warehouse


Handheld APAC, an Australian-based subsidiary of the rugged computer supplier Handheld Group, has established a local warehouse for quicker deliveries, tracking control and better support in the Asia Pacific region.
 
The new warehouse in Sydney will allow Handheld and its partners to offer the lowest possible transportation rates and reduced congestion, from manufacturing to end consumers. Other benefits involve increased control, flexibility, and communication.
“The new warehouse will be very helpful for us in our quest to serve our customers even better and faster”, said Christian Löfvendahl, managing director, Handheld APAC Pty Ltd. “We are now able to ship overnight and provide both the flexibility and control that our customers expect and deserve.”
 
Handheld’s rugged PDAs and mobile computers are specifically developed for use in tough environments in industries such as mining, geomatics, logistics, forestry, public transportation, construction, utilities, maintenance, military, and security.
 
Handheld APAC Pty Ltd. Is part of the Handheld Group and was established in February 2011 with headquarters in Sydney.
