WMC Group announces China-based subsidiary


WMC Group chief executive, Jason Pecotic. “With WMC China we can continue to guarantee the highest quality product is provided to our customers.”
 
Automotive distributor WMC Group has announced it will establish a wholly owned subsidiary in China to ensure vehicles it imports to Australia meet the highest quality standards.
 
WMC Group is based in Sydney and has been the Australian distributor for Higer buses and coaches since 2006 and the Australian distributor of JAC trucks since 2010.
 
According to Jason Pecotic, WMC Group chief executive, WMC China will be another tool to help the company achieve its goals and objectives in terms of quality and on time delivery.
 
“With WMC China we can continue to guarantee the highest quality product is provided to our customers,” Pecotic said. “WMC China will enable us to enhance research and development and quality control as well as improve parts supply and management by giving us daily contact with our suppliers.”
 
Mr. Shi Chunfeng has been appointed general manager of the new operation that will include an office, research and development centre and parts distribution centre based at Suzhou in southeast China.
