Worldwide online importing system launched

TNT Express has launched a new import express system to provide users across the globe with complete control over their shipments.

The web-based tool allows companies to order the collection of import shipments from approximately 170 countries with quotations and billing in their local currency to better control shipping costs.

TNT's system enhances its current Express Import services and is available to all customers, regardless the type or size of their business.

The system allows the option to request a quotation before the booking is completed. This means that customers can effectively decide when their import shipment will arrive and at what cost. The company then ships the goods via its ground or air network, depending on the customer's budget and timeline requirements.

The system is available in a number of languages including English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Chinese.
