Utility forklift launched

NACCO Materials Handling Group is introducing the UTILEV range of forklifts to Australia.

NACCO says these IC-powered counterbalance forklifts offer a no-nonsense, uncomplicated approach to materials handling, providing affordable, reliable and cost-effective handling solutions in applications, where handling equipment is required to work intermittently during the working week. The range consists of 1.5 to 3.5 tonne forklifts and is available in six different capacities with either diesel or dual-fuel power.

UTILEV products will be available from a network of independent dealers selected by NACCO Materials Handling Group to distribute the product range in territories across Asia Pacific. These dealers have established service operations and capabilities and are said to have consistently exhibited an expert understanding of the requirements of a vast array of materials handling applications.

In the forklifts, the operator compartment has been ergonomically designed, with a familiar automotive layout meaning that drivers will be able to work comfortably, preventing tiredness during handling operations.

Thanks to the simplicity of the components and specification, servicing can be carried out quickly and easily, even when PCs, laptops or diagnostic tools are not available.

NACCO says the use of proven, high quality components - as well as efficient filtration and cooling - results in the reliable operation of the trucks and lower wear and tear. This - together with a standard warranty and the fast availability of cost-effective replacement parts - helps to reduce service and maintenance requirements and costs.
