After a disastrous start to the year when only a total of fewer than 50 orders have been reported by the two aircraft makers in the first two months of 2010, both Boeing and Airbus have announced plans to now ramp up production.
Global airline capacity for September 2009 is showing positive growth for the second consecutive month. The world’s airlines have scheduled 296.9 million seats, a rise of 1.4 per cent (4,130,744 more seats) over September 2008 levels.
