Linfox to roll out mobile workforce management system

Linfox Logistics will soon begin using the GeoManager system to manage over 2,000 vehicles within its expanding mobile workforce.
Linfox is rolling out the Trimble system to help improve customer service, enhance driver safety, reduce operating costs, and better manage greenhouse gas emissions.
“The GeoManager solution will allow us to continue to improve our high standards for customer service, vehicle performance and driver safety,” said Shane Falkiner, compliance manager Asia Pacific, Linfox. “[It] will also allow us to deploy a single solution across our fleet and support our goals under the Green Fox initiative by reducing overall fuel usage and decreasing our rate of greenhouse gas emissions by 15 per cent in the coming year.”
Trimble GeoManager is an on-demand fleet productivity and management system that integrates global positioning system (GPS), vehicle diagnostics, driver computing, wireless communications and a hosted software application suite. It is designed to automate the management of mobile resources and to optimise the service delivery process for customers across a variety of industries.
