United has acquired from Hastings Deering the distribution rights for CAT forklift products in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

“This means all customers will now have outstanding access from the one source to the total CAT lift truck range – including the latest fuel-efficient conventional and environmentally sensitive electric and LPG forklift products,” said Craig Coles, CAT product manager, United Forklift and Access Solutions.

“Equipment purchaser and equipment hire customers, including existing Hasting customers, will also benefit substantially from the service, safety and training arrangements from United facilities across Australia. These services are keyed to enhancing cost-efficiency whilst extending safety and environmental benefits from advanced equipment that we are progressively introducing and expanding in the local market.”

Hastings is becoming a reseller to support their key customers, as well as a service agent for United in remote areas where they have a presence.
