Absolute wins Distributor of the Year award for 2016

Melbourne-based Absolute Storage Systems took out the Distributor of the Year Award for 2016 at the SSI SCHAEFER annual Distributor Conference held in Sydney recently.

The meeting was attended by the three Gold Distributors as well as senior management from SSI SCHAEFER Australia and the APAC region. The award, presented annually, recognises the distributor’s achievements. This year’s win by Absolute Storage is the sixth time they have won this award.

Absolute Storage secured the win by exceeding their sales target and collaborating with and positively promoting SSI SCHAEFER and its products to the market place, which enabled both companies to secure significant projects during the past year.

“Absolute Storage continues to build and train a competent sales, engineering and project delivery team, and to professionally present SSI SCHAEFER”, said Brett Thirup, general manager, integrated standard solutions & combi logistics systems for SSI SCHAEFER. “I am delighted to present this award to them today.”

Brian Miles, managing director of the SSI SCHAEFER regional office in Singapore congratulated Absolute Storage at the Distributor Meeting: “This being the 6th time Absolute Storage has been awarded Distributor of the Year, shows not only their drive and commitment to their customers, but also is testament to the very close relationship they have with SSI SCHAEFER in Australia.”

Scott Giles, CEO of Absolute Storage Systems said: “Winning the award for 2016, gives the staff recognition for their continued efforts and also reinforces to our clients that they are dealing with a provider that is not only selling a great product but also executing the installation and project management to the highest of standards. We have aimed for the top position so it is extremely satisfying to have achieved our goal but now we will be focusing on 2017 and beyond.”
